Year-Round Program (3 years old - 4 years old)

The Pre-School Program is designed for children ages 3—4 years old, and based on a Creative Curriculum program to develop academic skills. Children who are 3 years old on or by September 1, qualify for the Pre-School Program. Four-year-old children are enrolled in our FREE VPK Program (Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten Program), and are required to have turned 4 on or before September 1.
Curriculum is based on Creative Curriculum designed to expose children to a variety of activities necessary for school readiness. Parents can participate in their child’s activities by helping with their homework or going over the work sheets done each day. Teaching your child to zip, button, tie, hold a crayon or pencil, and cut with scissors correctly will help reinforce our program.

Facilities & Services

PCA has a spacious building to accommodate our Pre-School Children. There are area activity rugs and tile flooring throughout the facilities. Numerous creative and structured activities are planned for every age group.
Our newly remodeled Pre-School playground is designed specifically for young children. It is safe and secure, and offers a variety of equipment and play surfaces.

|
Quiet time occurs for approximately two hours daily. Each child is to have their own clean towel. We provide the nap-time mats.

Parent / Teacher Conference
|
|
If you would like a conference with your child’s teacher, notify the PCA Office. We will be happy to schedule an appointment.

Weekly Calendar

A Lesson Plan is posted outside your child’s classroom door.
The schedule includes:

Field Trips
|
|
Field trips are planned throughout the year. These will be posted a week in advance. Field trips are for 3 and 4 year olds only.

End of the Year Program / Graduation
|
|
The three year-olds will have an end of year program and our four-year-olds will have a Graduation Ceremony at the end of the school year. These are very special events for the entire family.
