PCA - Infants & Toddlers Header

 Year-Round Program (Infant - Age 2)
All Infants & Toddlers activities are developmentally and age appropriate. The Infants Program is designed for infants until age 1. Your child will be promoted to the Toddler Program when he/she turns 1 year old.
The Toddlers Program is designed for those ages 1 through 2 years.
Both the Infant and Toddler Programs provide a loving, nurturing atmosphere, which is the most important necessity for these ages. All children learn in their own time, and activities will be presented according to individual needs, in a natural learning environment.
Facilities & Services
PCA has a spacious building to accommodate our infants and toddlers.  The facility is very clean and well lit and provides a warm environment.  The rooms are designed to provide early learning experiences, as well as security.  Children learn through play, and all toys are age appropriate.
Our Infants have a screened-in porch used for their outdoor play.  Our one-year-old Toddlers’ playground is designed specifically for these very young children.  Our newly redesigned two-year-old Toddlers’ playground is designed for the very active two’s.  The playground is safe and secure, and is nicely shaded.  There is an equal amount of play time and quiet time, according to the child’s schedule.  We feel  that play and sleep are very important in this young age group.
Daily Schedule
We recognize it is important for you to know what your child does each day; therefore, times are posted in your child’s room as to their daily routine.  At the end of the day for infants and 1 year olds, teachers will provide you with a “Cuddle Gram” — a short note about your child’s day.
